What is CTax?
CTax is an automated corporation tax return package that produces the corporation tax computation and CT600 return forms.
What does CTax do?
The computation :
- analyses allowable and disallowable expenses
- allocates brought forward and current year trading losses
- calculates capital allowances
- calculates capital gains
- computes profits chargeable to corporation tax
- prints cross referenced tax computation
- feeds directly into the return
The return :
- calculates corporation tax
- calculates marginal relief
- calculates tax on non corporate distributions
(for accounting periods spanning 1 April 2006)
- includes accounting periods spanning two fiscal years
- includes effect of associated companies
- completes and prints CT600 return forms
How should I use CTax?
CTax is very flexible, and is used in three main ways :
1 : simply enter income and expenses and let CTax do everything else
or 2 : if you prepare your own computations you can go straight to the return for CTax to complete the return calculations and print the return forms
or 3 : if you prepare your own computations and want to import your entries into CTax to complete the return process, you can join several customers for whom we have built bespoke versions of CTax for very reasonable prices
