The Gala Dinner will be held in the Pendeniss Suite

 

                      

 

Gala dinner, Friday 9th of May 2008. The Pendennis Suite. Price for One night B&B plus the dinner, £67.50. Additional nights B&B £60.00. All per person.
(As usual, a wedding gets in the way of Saturday, when an area of the main conservatory will be set aside for us) The usual 10% or credit card details will be required. as deposit at the time of booking.
 
Situated about !/2 mile from Buxton Station. From the central roundabout, go on Manchester Road, up the hill to the first bend left. The Hotel is on the left just after the bend.
 
They are reserving 25 rooms inc. 3 single till first Sunday in January. The 6th of Jan.
 
Menus are being worked on by Kath and the Hotel. Details later. It will not be as plain or restrictive as usual and a veggie option will be available.
 
She will also obtain the program for the Buxton Opera House as soon as it is published for the relevant period. We have been to some great shows there.
 
Golf will be available at the Cavendish Golf Club. Details to be finalised by the Hotel staff on our behalf, (as the events booker's new husband is a member, he tells me).
 
Chatsworth House is about 20 mins drive away. Well worth a visit. Any guide book will list dozens of things to see and do around there. Any questions - E-mail Sid.
