The Healthcare team at Daisy Villa

Office Staff
When you telephone or visit the surgery, the first people you meet will be the office staff. Lorna Whyte is our Practice Manager, her assistant is Anne Seatter. There are two receptionists, Mous Van Gelder and Pam Thomson. They ensure the smooth running of the practice and deal with your requests and any questions you may have. Any information you leave with them is treated in the strictest confidence.
Practice Nurse
Clare Fogarty our Practice Nurse holds regular clinics on Monday, Tuesday and Friday, from 9.00 -12.30 and 2.10 - 5.30. All clinics are by appointment, so please telephone the surgery and the reception staff will give you an appointment time.
Community Nurses
Our nurses - Sylvia Tomison, Clare Fogarty (also our Practice Nurse) and Kath McEvoy (Auxiliary Nurse) are all based at Daisy Villa. They assess and provide nursing care within the community and run the dressing clinic. They can be contacted by telephoning 831 513. There is an answerphone where you can leave a message if all the nurses are out on visits.

Health Visitor
May Armour can also be contacted on 831 513. She is able to help on many health matters and has a special interest in the under 5s and expectant and new mothers
Physiotherapy
Fiona Mackellar holds a physiotherapy clinic on Tuesday and Friday mornings. Sessions are by appointment and after a referral has been made by one of our GPs

Community Psychiatric Nurse
Ewen Taylor comes to the surgery on a weekly basis, and also visits patients in their homes.
