Appreciate your
child's involvement in playing cricket should be primarily for their own
personal enjoyment.
2.
Respect the
rights, dignity and worth of each and every person, and treat equally within
the context of the sport.

Encourage your child
to accept responsibility for their own behaviour and performance.
4.
Never argue with
an Umpire or Scorer.
5.
Develop and build
a working relationship with the Manager and coaching staff based on mutual
trust and respect. Clarify with the Manager exactly what is expected from you
and what you can expect in return.
6.
Display high
standards of behaviour, and be a role model for players and spectators.
7.
Emphasise the
importance of striving to win, not winning itself.
8.
Praise effort and performance more than results.
9.
Praise the
positive aspects of play and avoid becoming frustrated or ridiculing young
players by focusing on their failings.
10.
Adhere to all guidelines laid down by the Club's
Constitution, this Code of Conduct and the rules of the E.C.B.
11.
Always promote the positive aspects of
cricket.
12.
Never condone
violations of the laws of the game, behaviour contrary to the spirit of the
laws of the game or relevant rules, or the use of prohibited substances or
techniques
