• Use the M62 west-bound towards Liverpool.

 

• At junction 6 of the M62, follow the M57 signposted Southport and The Docks.

 

• Follow the M57 until it's end (approx 10 miles)

 

• At the end of the M57, meeting a large traffic island take the 2nd exit sign-posted to Bootle, Formby and The Docks.

 

• Immediately pull out into the right hand lane (with Total Fitness and Beefeater restaurant on your right)

 

• At the traffic lights turn right, signposted to Formby (Police Station on your right).

 

• Passing the Beefeater restaurant and Total Fitness again on your right!!  Follow the road for approx 3 miles, through 1 set of traffic lights.

 

• After passing 2 pubs called 'The Nags Head' and 'The Grapes', turn right at next traffic lights.

 

• Follow the A565 (dual carriageway) for approximately 7 miles, passing RAF Woodvale on your left.

 

• After passing RAF Woodvale and a 'Welcome to Southport' sign, make sure you go straight ahead at the next traffic lights.

 

• The cricket club is located approx 0.5 miles on your left after these traffic lights.

 

• The cricket club has a sign outside titled 'The Ainsdale Club'.
