Pubs

One of the best things about rambling is the chance to visit traditional country pubs. Most of our rambles have a lunchtime stop at a pub for refreshments and they give the ideal opportunity to relax and socialise. Most publicans are very welcoming and value the extra business that walkers bring but there are some important things to remember:

Although most country pubs are friendly to walkers there are a number that are worthy of special note. Below, we have listed some pubs around Leicestershire that have been used over the years with success. We will change the list from time to time so let us know of any that you feel should be featured or removed.
