After months of not seeing anyone, I seem to have at least one meeting almost every day to catch up our affairs. The Broccoli harvest continues apace with a lorry load going off every few days. I also seem to be developing a local round for restaurants, greengrocers and shops. On top of that Babs and I went to our first Farmers Market (held in Pembridge) We made £80!! to sponsor our son Richard when he runs the New York marathon, in aid of the Macmillan Nurses, in November.
We
harvested a really good crop of Organic maize, the best ever!
Our caravan site seems to have been really full this month, its nice to see
so many people, lets hope next year is better still.
The dairy cows have been busy calving again, thankfully we have been able
to produce a lot of milk from grass this Autumn, with a nice dry month and
lots of grass -how different to last years floods!!
