Early in the month we had a Dawn Chorus morning. Starting in the dark at 4am.Hearing the birds start their songs in succession and then walk round the farm with a real expert, I cant hear all the notes ,but I certainly know more than I did before. Finally Bacon and Eggs in the barn (Organic, of course) a memorable morning.
Planting some Veg., with the first of a succession of plantings of Broccoli and Leeks going in. A good crop silage in the barn and the cows milking well.
