Our lovely executive luxury villa is located on the delightfully tranquil community of Cumbrian Lakes in Kissimmee, Florida. Built along classic period lines, Cumbrian Lakes is ideally suited to meet the many and varied needs of holiday makers of all ages. Just south of Disney and minutes from H192, Cumbrian Lakes nestles within a relaxing and quiet conservation area which boasts a variety of walking, cycling and jogging trails around the sparkling lakes. There is also a ‘Tot Lot’ and play area.
Cumbrian Lakes is a gated community which has already become recognised as one of the most prestigious in the Orlando/Kissimmee area. The abundant wildlife that has chosen to make the conservation area around Cumbrian Lakes its home is testament to the tranquil and peaceful nature of the community. The shimmering lakes provide an ideal habitat for cranes, ospreys, blue heron and much, much more. Watch out for alligators gliding through the water or resting on the banks (but do not feed them!) and see if you can spot some of the many turtles. If you keep your eyes open and if you’re very lucky, you may just catch sight of an American bald eagle flying overhead! The street lighting is fashioned along the lines of old style gas lamps to give the impression of a classic period estate. This is complemented by brick pavers on the walkways and garage drives which to all intents and purposes, look like traditional cobbled stones. The pleasing streetscapes are lined with ancient oak tree preserves which offer shade as well as a taste of Florida's natural beauty.
Amongst all this peace and tranquility, it is hard to believe that Walt Disney World Resort is just a few minutes drive away, SeaWorld and Discovery Cove 15 minutes, and Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure 20/25 minutes. Kennedy and Busch Gardens can be reached within the hour, as can the Gulf and Atlantic Coast beach resorts. If, however, you are in Orlando on business and the attractions are not a priority, the villa still provides a very convenient base with the International Convention Centre less than 20 minutes away and just a short 25/30 minute drive to Orlando International Airport. All in all, the location is superb; Cumbrian Lakes is within easy reach of all Central Florida's most popular attractions together with a wide range of championship golf courses and sporting facilities to suit every need. The golf is amazing; you’ll find the choice mind blowing! And let’s not forget Highway 192 with its many and varied restaurants, shopping malls, supermarkets and shops - tastes and prices to suit everyone.
