Chip better than Mickelson, fire your vintage Faldoesque 4 iron approach shot to within inches of the pin, drive the ball further than Daly and put at least as well as Tiger.  Afterwards have a drink at the 19th with Darren and Lee, and mull over your chances of making the next Ryder Cup team.  Well, what’s wrong with having dreams?

Central Florida is the place for fulfilling dreams and not just in the theme parks such as Disney, Universal or Busch.  For the golfer, there is just as much on offer, if not more so, with 100 plus golf courses out there for you to tame!  Many of the courses feature highly in the 'Best of' lists and rightly so.

Florida is truly a golfers' paradise - the PGA Tour has even made its headquarters here.  The weather is nigh on perfect - The Sunshine State - and the courses are, well, simply out of this world.  Picture the scene ........ manicured fairways inviting you to let rip, white sanded bunkers waiting to catch the wayward shot, lightening quick greens to test the nerves, the rippling water of the many lakes reflecting the brilliant sunshine and trees rustling in the gentle breeze.  Bet you can't wait to get on that first tee!  

Orlando is home to a number of the world’s top professionals and if it’s good enough for them, it’s certainly also good enough for you!  The golfing facilities are extraordinarily good, and the service and welcome you will receive at any of the clubs you choose to play will be exceptional.

Look out for discount vouchers in the many specialist golf outlets and always check out green fee rates and tee time availability with your chosen course direct.  Rates will depend upon the time of day you wish to play - early morning when the temperature is not at its highest will be more expensive than afternoon starts.  Remember twilight rates can often offer good value.  The use of buggy carts is mandatory on most courses and the cost is included normally in the green fee.  Top name clubs (e.g. Calloway, Taylor Made, etc.) and shoes (e.g. Footjoy) are usually available for hire at reasonable prices.
