ENTRIES INFORMATION

The 2008 race is now open for entries and will close at 23:59 on 31st October 2008.

Entry is via OARA only. No cheques please – online payment only.

The entry fee is £50, including a number deposit: £6 of the entry fee will be refunded if a crew’s bow number is returned undamaged.

Visiting crews must have permission to boat from a host club before entering.

Non-veteran crews must be a minimum of Senior 4, both at the time of entry and on race day. Novice crews will not be accepted.

All competitors must be 18 years or over (excluding coxswains).

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

It is the responsibility of the individual clubs to enter only crews and coxswains that are sufficiently competent to race. Crews must be capable of completing a ten-mile outing, and may be on the water for two hours.

If a club enters a crew that is deemed not to be sufficiently competent, the crew will be escorted off the course and action will be taken against the offending club.
