Sean O'Dea, my father, was born in Co Clare in Ireland in 1927, and
died on December 22nd 2002. He achieved his lifelong ambition of devoting
his time to writing poetry and prose during his retirement years. He had
hoped to publish some of this, and in the interim, I had organised a website
of his intended tract "75 years of eclectic poetry..." as a Christmas
present for him in 2002. Sadly he did not live to see this. This is a posthumous
tribute website containing some of his best poems and stories for the enjoyment
of his family and many friends, and any passing browsers who might be charmed
to meet the spirit that was Sean. New material will be added as I go through
his copious papers, so please check back: this is a dynamic website! Please
do sign the guestbook to keep his memory alive. Please respect the copyright
of the material and do not reproduce without permission; requests to use
or copy can be posted in the guestbook, and I will respond.
