The BCDS is a friendly group of people who share a general interest in
Charles Dickens, his work, life and times. There are a wide variety of
activities on offer for a modest annual subscription of £10.00.
The Bristol and Clifton Dickens Society was founded 4 April 1902 and is one of
the oldest Dickens organisations in the world. The Society holds regular
meetings and other events. It is an autonomous branch of the Dickens Fellowship.
