On a personal note My wife and I both use TENS machines as there are no side affects, and it brings instant pain relief. As Arthritis sufferers we could not do without one. Apparently they are also used by pregnant women in labour. You can even hire these from your local GP for such. Although most charge around £25.00 for that, so you'd be as well buying one. We have made them as cheap as we possibly can, but that does not mean they are of inferior quality. These are made by Home Clinic and are the best I have come across.
