CLUB INFORMATION
Derwynd
Field Archery Club is based near Blackburn in the West Lancashire Area
and has been in existence for over thirty years. Our Chairman and Secretary
are fully involved in the the running of the Lancashire League and assist
in the administration of the N.F.A.S. National championships.
The
club has an area of mixed woodland, which rolls,down to a stream which
runs the length of of the wood. (See club pictures) Generally the club
hosts at least one open shoot and one league shoot annually.
Members
come from all walks of life, and shoot a variety of styles (see Shooting
Styles) Some members have won awards up to and including National Championship
Level.
New
members are always welcome whether experienced archers or complete beginners.
