Club History:
Gallo Ciego opened its first regular classes and Milongas in 2004. Sandra and Loyd have been teaching every Thursday (and occasionally on Sundays) since then beginners and later intermediate. Sandra and Loyd have also been running monthly Milongas with traditional music by DJ Sandrita, along with practicas.
Juan Manual Acosta, Giraldo Escobar and Kicca Tommasi have been coming regularly to teach workshops and performances until March 2007 intermediate and advanced level. Juan Manuel and Kicca went back to Buenos Aires following different routes: he was hired by Tango por dos (one of the best tango company in the world) and she since is dancing with Julio Mendez and has opened her own Milonga in Buenos Aires (El Social).
Giraldo is still running the best Milonga in the UK based in London, Corrientes Social Club.
