The CHAGFORD  SINGERS  are based in the Dartmoor town of Chagford (20 miles west of Exeter) and rehearse weekly for two or three concerts a year.  They form a Chamber Choir of about 45 voices.  Over the past 12 years they have performed a wide range of choral music from the fourteenth to the twenty-first centuries, often with professional soloists and orchestra.

The Chagford Singers are affiliated to the National Federation of Music Societies (Making Music)  and  the Plymouth Music Accord.

As with all amateur choral societies, the Chagford Singers always seek new singers in all groups, particularly in the soprano and tenor sections.  Please contact the Chairman or Secretary for further details - you will be most welcome.

The singers rehearse  weekly  in Endecott House,  Chagford on Wednesday evenings at 7.30pm,  and perform concerts two or three times each year, usually in the Parish Church of St. Michael the Archangel,  Chagford.

You might like to look at the British Choirs website, www.choirs.org.uk for a host of information about  the activities of choirs all around Britain.
