Dear (name withheld),
Thank you for letting us know that something is happening.
We are somewhat bemused, however .... that
1. our letter of 31st October 2007 ,
2. our chaser letter of 17th November 2007
3. also your branch's letter of 19th November were (presumably) all lost in
the post.
If details were not received until end of November, it makes us feel very pleased that we took the hour to put together www.dfparker.co.uk with all details attached enabling your Customer Relations Department at least to start 'at the end of November'. (We will ask our Post Office friend what the odds are likely to be on all three letters never being delivered, and will get back to you)
We note also that your email does not indicate a timing for Thomas Cook's response.
Under the ABTA code of conduct that Thomas Cook subscribe to, we shall be looking
for a full and detailed reply by 56 days after the 2nd November 2007
If there is anything we can do to assist you in achieving this, please let us know.
regards
Diane and Dave Parker

Dear Mr Parker
My colleague (name withheld) is not in the office today and therefore I have had a look at this matter for you. I can advise you that currently, (Name withheld) in our Customer Relations Department is dealing with your case. We received your complaint at the end of November and I can advise you that the matter is currently under investigation.

Attention (Name withheld),
Many thanks for your assistance this afternoon.
As mentioned, I am having real difficulty in getting any response from Peterborough re a complaint letter that I sent on 31st October 2007.
In case my file does not have all the details of the case available, I have made all the activity thus far available at www.dfparker.co.uk
Please feel free to copy off all the paperwork that you need.
I would appreciate your asking whomsoever is responsible for replying to these complaints to advise me of the current situation.
Once you are sure that this matter is receiving adequate attention, please let me know by email.
Once I hear from the relevant department, I will know that www.dfparker.co.uk will no longer need to be available.
I am sorry to have to involve you with all this, but I have had a tad too many promises ... with no discernable action.
If I may, I would like to keep you up-to-date with the 'happenings'
regards
Dave Parker
