Welcome to the website of the 27-year-old Scottish composer, conductor and schools music animateur - Iain Masson
Iain Masson (br. Dundee, 1981) is a British composer and music educator who has recently graduated with a Diploma in Composition from the Royal Northern College of Music where he was a student of Adam Gorb.
Based in the West Midlands, he now works across West Midlands primary schools to help make music exciting and active in schools.
His experience includes project delivery for Creative Partnerships, Musicate.Org, and The Halle Orchestra. He is trained as a workshop leader by Kate Luxmoore.
Performers of his music include the Brodsky Quartet, Goldberg Ensemble and RNCM New Ensemble. His music has been broadcast live on BBC Radio 3.
