This is an Intermediate level Workshop suitable for those who have already attended one or two Modern Jive evenings or
those who have already attended one or more of our beginners workshops #1, #2,
#3, #4 and #5 and would like to
broaden their style enabling them to dance with sensitivity to the slower music available. This workshop is designed to teach closer, more intimate moves. Based upon several routines from our popular intermediate level DVD 'Squeeze to Please. These intermediate workshops can be attended in any order.

The aim of the workshop is to teach the technique and styling points of the following intermediate figures:

Walk in Seducer

Winder Snake
Reverse Winder Snake
Ginger Drop
Ballroom Turns
Routine #3
Grape Dip
Roll in Grape
Roll in Sweep
Latin Walks
BJ Lean
Routine #4
Eskimo
Eskimo Rotating
Kissing Break
Sway Lean
After this workshop you should consider attending another of our intermediate workshops: #1 - Dance to Dazzle,
#2 - Enhance your Dance or
#4 - Dancing with Style. Or you could attend one of our advanced workshops:
#1 - Drops, Lifts and Jumps, #2 - Lindy Hop
or #3 - Double Trouble

And don't worry if you don't have a partner, as we ensure that there are equal numbers of boys and girls and that we mix everyone up so that all the boys dance with all the girls (and vice-versa). However, if you do have a partner, and you would like to stay together during the workshop, then that's fine also!
