Researchers at the University of Texas looked at more than 400 cardiac patients from six hospitals. Their research showed that dancing following a heart attack may reduce the risk of another by as much as 80%. They also found that those who increased their physical activity after a first heart attack lowered the risk of dying of heart disease by as much as 89%.
