PR drives footfall to residential parks Summer & Autumn 2008
A large residential retirement park operator, with over 20 parks UK-wide, has engaged Nicola to promote each park’s open weekends throughout 2008. The summer programme has been particularly successful: 80 visitors at one park, 52 at another exceeding client's expectations. PR (supported by local press advertising) is the prime communications tool making the most of a very limited budget.
Launch of leisure lodge show village April 2008
Nicola’s regional and trade press campaign was important to the success of the opening of the largest permanent leisure lodge show “village” in Europe. The “village”, located in York, was officially opened by the Lord Mayor. Nearly 1400 members of the public plus 100 holiday park operators (who buy the lodges) visited for the opening.
Creative e-newsletters for holiday bookings throughout 2008
A well-known holiday company has hired Nicola to write all its regular e-newsletters (retail and trade) throughout 2008. Her job is to produce engaging, pithy copy to encourage the British to visit specific regions of the UK and France and to write nuanced, more complex text for the monthly trade e-newsletters.
