2. Introduction of the Engines Advantages to the Marine Industry.
Initially the Company will produce an Engine of between 300 or 400 HP for production, which will firstly target the higher end of the Leisure Marine Boat Builders.
In which the UK Market continues to do well, especially the bigger boat builders with an International presence. Forecast from the BMF for 2003 are £1,802 million. [References will be made from market research in the

The types of boats that will use this type of engine are Pleasure Boats, Yachting and High Performance Speed Boats, which mainly use two of these Engines in each Boat.
The Advantage to the Boat Builder and the Unique Selling Points are its 1. Compact Size, 2. Superior Power Output, 3. Increased Overall Performance and 4. Extended Range.

1. Size. Space on a boat is at a premium; Greatly reducing the engine compartment will enhance the usable deck space.

2. Power Output. This will greatly increase the Boats performance, a selling point for every boat.

3. Overall Performance. The Cam Engine produces increased Torque throughout it rev range, as opposed to a Crank engine. To produce torque in lower rev range you would have an extended crank throw thus increasing the engine size and restricted top end performance; Or alternately the use of a converted V8 Car engine which has a poor bottom-end rev range and is not suitable for the larger boats. Powerboats use two engines one with a lower rev range and one with an upper rev range. The Cam engine will over-come this necessity.

4. Range. Because the cam engine is more efficient and burns less fuel, it will increase the boats range and reduce the fuel tank capacity.
