Accommodation

Although built only 30 years ago the chalet follows a traditional alpine design. It is constructed in wooden madriers. This system of interlocking logs has the reputation of being warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Underfloor heating provides good background heating in the winter and each room also has a convector heater.

The chalet has two double bedrooms, and one twin bedroom. Two of the double bedrooms have en-suite facilities. The third bedroom has shared facilities. One of the double bedrooms with en-suite facilities is on the ground floor with views out to the garden. The two other bedrooms are on the first floor leading from a gallery/sejour which overlooks the living/dining room. The living room, which has a log fire, leads directly on to a south facing terrace with open views of the mountains.

We offer a cuisine which focuses on French, Savoyard and Italian cooking using produce from the local shops and market. Breakfast is continental served with a selection of freshly baked breads, croissants and brioche, cooked in a traditional wood fired oven at the local boulangerie. Evening meals are generally three courses, preceded by aperitifs and served with local and regional French wines.
