Although only lightly shown, 'Freya' did have some successes in the show ring and qualified for Crufts under Freda Marshall at South Wales KC in 2000. She is a registered PAT Dog and has her Kennel Club Good Citizens Bronze Award.

Freya has found her true calling in the field and absolutely loved her first season picking up in 2002/03. She has competed in several working tests and received a COM at Berkshire Downs & Chilterns Beginners Working Test in September 2002. |

Freya had a good start to 2005, being invited to pick up at Gurston Down, Rockstead and Ashley Clinton shoots. She is in her element hunting up runners. She also competed in working tests once the season was over and was awarded a 4th in Novice at BD&C GRC tests in May. In September she won ND/NH and was 4th Novice dog again at BD&C GRC. According to my daughter "Freya is now frizzy old bag and cannot run up and down hills anymore, so she is going to retire to Stafford to live with Kristy, David and Esme and be the ORJ office dog!" Seems a bit hard to me, but perhaps it could be for the best. However with her retrieving skills she may last another season or two so Kristy will just have to wait! |  |
