Chez Arête is based in the small hamlet of Puyrial;  40km north of Périgueux and 55km south of Angoulême, off the D939.

FROM THE SOUTH From Périgueux, follow the N939 signs for Angoulême.  After approximately 30 minutes you will see a road sign indicating that you have entered Beauséjour.  Almost immediately, there is a right turn up into Puyrial that you should take - (do not go past the restaurant, small tabac and the Hotel Beauséjour on the left).  Chez Arête is at the top of the hill on the right hand side.		This sign is less than 100 metres before the turn up the hill to Puyrial.
FROM THE NORTH From Angoulême, follow the N939 signs for Périgueux.  After approximately 15 minutes you will see a small right turn for Monsec.  Go past this (on the right is a restaurant, small tabac and the Hotel Beauséjour) and take the immediate next left up into Puyrial.  Chez Arête is at the top of the hill on the right hand side.		This sign is less than 100 metres before the turn up the hill to Puyrial.

There are 3 airports nearby; Limoges, Bordeaux (approx 100km & less than 90 minutes) and Bergerac (approx 150km and 2hrs)

ARRIVING BY FERRY
Head towards Rouen/Le Mans/Tours/Poitiers/Angoulême.  See above directions from Angoulême.
