The big event of
2008, our
80th year took place on 11th-13th July, when Mersey Morris Men
hosted the 315th Meeting of the Morris Ring. This is the worldwide
association of men's morris, mumming and sword dance clubs.
We were joined
for the
weekend by over one hundred morris men from all over the realm, dancing
in Liverpool on Saturday 12th July and in Willaston on the Wirral the
following day.
