Volunteers

 

Swansea Mind's volunteers help run our Drop-in services. They socialise with clients, provide a listening ear and offer support and information when possible. If you are interested in volunteering please contact the Center Worker at Swansea Mind. All volunteers at Swansea Mind are offered full support, training, supervision and travel expenses.

Executive Members (Trustees)

The Executive Members at Swansea Mind are the employers of all paid staff, it is a highly responsible voluntary role. They ensure sound management of all financial matters and make sure the policies of Mind are adhered to. They make decisions to undertake new activities plus meet the needs and problems of existing services. Ongoing training and support is offered to all Executive Members.
Interested parties are likely to have either personal experience or interest in mental health and/or skills in management, finance.
