After 25 years living in ‘expensive’ hotels, I found this ‘jewel’ run by such a nice family. It all makes the hotels seem so very dull.
Mr B Woodbridge, Ludlow, UK
The best place that I have ever stayed at in the UK! Wonderful rooms, wonderful beds, wonderful hospitality. The best of British! Thank you so much, I will be back.
Mr. J Gabor, Wichita, Kansas, USA

What a wonderful time we had. What a beautiful house, and so friendly. We will remember you with very warm feelings, and when time allows us, we will definately be back

Absolutely fabulous! You walk into the rooms and your mouth drops. It’s amazing and if mum will let us we will come back next year!
Miss Stevens (aged 9), Worcester, UK
Beds to die for, breakfast that helps morning to be the best part of the day. Thank you all for making me feel so welcome.
Mrs Holdsworth, East Yorkshire, UK
A most enjoyable stay and a relaxed, friendly welcome. We would recommend ‘Barrows’ without hesitation

The pink room was lovely. The best B & B I have ever stayed in.
Mr Brewitt, Glasgow, Scotland
One customer enjoyed her stay so much at Barrows Farmhouse B&B Yeovil that she penned a little ditty entitled 'Ode to Barrows'...
Blink and you might miss it, as you're through it in a flash
Villages are soon passed by as off to work they dash
But if you pause you might just feel a tingle down your back...
East Chinnock is a place like that, you probably know the name
But like other villages on your route they all look much the same
Why bother pausing on your trip, why should you cause delay?
You're either dashing into work or home at the end of the day
But in this quiet village there's a lovely B & B
And for the past two weeks it's been home from home for me
Little Jennie runs the place though some may not concur
Husband Ellis for one although not in earshot of her
The welcome has been friendly, the atmosphere is great
The breakfasts are a struggle, as they tend to fill the plate
The bedrooms are so peaceful, the views are a delight
The beds are big and comfy, you sleep all through the night
You come and go just as you please but if you stay out late
Jennie will phone your wide up, you're philandering to relate
But I enjoy the banter and we have a laugh or two
Barrows Farmhouse I'd recommend, it's just the place for you
