Village Connect is a community
magazine, distributed free to villages around Melton
Mowbray. It can also be obtained from Melton Mowbray Library.The magazine
aims to cover all kinds of rural/village matters and act as a link between the
different communities in the area. General news items and reports from around
the villages are mixed with feature articles on a wide variety of subjects
(conservation, environment, transport, rural enterprises, special interest
groups, sports & leisure, eating out and so on). A list of useful telephone
numbers and/or website addresses is also published in each issue to help readers
find out as much as possible about services and facilities available to them.
