It has around 600 inhabitants and consists of 240 homes, a Primary School, a Church of England Church, a Methodist Chapel, Village Hall, a Village Shop and Post Office and a Public House called The Bell. 
 

It recently won Best Village in Leicestershire award in 2005, sponsored by Calor. It is an attractive and pleasant village, parts dating back to mediaeval  times. It still retains many of the best attributes of English village life. The community is thriving despite its small size, sustaining a range of  activities and social groups surprising in its diversity and number.

 This Web page has been created to give both Frisby residents and visitors to the village an idea of what is on offer in the way of events, activities and facilities.

 Fristock is our annual music event which is held every summer. This unique gathering offers villagers and visitors alike the opportunity to enjoy live acts in the open air - in the company of good friends, with a bar & barbecue and free camping facilities for the committed.
