Kirsteen Benson BA (Hons)
Kirsteen
is greatly inspired by both European and Japanese 20th Century art.

After three years teaching art and drama Kirsteen attended Heriot Watt University and graduated with Hons in Textile Design. She was also distinguished by winning two design competitions, which led to a career in innovation. During this time she worked as a graphic designer and developer of new products. Throughout this time Kirsteen continued to exhibit in various art and design galleries including Gallery Now (Birmingham ) and The Lighthouse Design Centre (Glasgow).
Now a full time potter and painter, Kirsteen is inspired by the thoughts and emotions of people and what they project about themselves, as well as life and growth.

Kitty Atkinsin BA (Hons)
Kitty
has made pots and painted since she could lift a brush, aged two. This amounts to a vast depth of knowledge and experience in the arts, including having had her own ceramics business for many years.

She went to Glasgow College of Art in the late 60s and was awarded a year of postgraduate study for outstanding work.
She has had many exhibitions in the UK including several recently in Sussex where she now lives.
Her subject matter is life around her, especially the natural world.

Andrew Hodgson MA (Hons)
Andrew
received most of his artistic training from his parents and finished it off with a degree in Art and Drama at University College Chester where he specialised in sculpture and stage design. He takes his inspiration from nature and the work of fantasy artists and writers.

An abiding love of all things dragonish has entered his work from the age of about fourteen and this is a theme he returns to again and again.
His sculptural work for Bagsythat Pottery reflects both a thorough technical understanding of pottery techniques and a childhood spent building with plasticine!
He has shown work at The Chequermead Arts Centre in East Grinstead and The Crescent Theatre in Birmingham.
Andrew is an education advisor in the Midlands.
